About the Pink Bedroom:
The "Pink Bedroom" is fitted with 2-sets of queen-sized bed + single bed each. It can easily accommodate 4-6 adults.

The "Pink Bedroom" is my daughter’s personal choice. For what it lacks in size, natural light through the window, it makes up for its coziness through its cool three setting lighting fixtures. The “Pink Bedroom” has high speed Wi-Fi where everybody can enjoy using the internet or view their favorite movies in private with their own gadgets without disruption. For temperature control full-size window, operable ventanilla or small glass window and stand fan are available.

Everyone can cook, dine and interact with other guests in the common area. If you wish to relax and see the beautiful surrounding of the condo building, one has to climb the stairs up to the covered top floor.

Other things to note
The Ela-g guest condo is my home away from home, and each guest that it becomes home to is entrusted with its utmost care. The furniture is expensive to maintain and replenishing its freebies is a daunting task for owners.

To my guests, please take care of my home, take only what you need, and ensure that anything that is not complimentary is still there upon checkout and in good condition.

How Ela-G guest condo helps foreigner’s dilemma.

By Ela-G

Upon arrival in Baguio, a couple of foreign nationals stayed in a hostel but unfortunately, the place had issues. The host cannot control the noisy environment that even at fast midnight they claimed that they cannot catch their sleep. Certainly, the host isn’t going to tell you that the place is prone to noise pollution. It would put them out of business if they warn you. I’m not sure how you’d research any accommodation and figure this out to your advantage, maybe due diligence might do the trick beforehand. Because of the unfortunate incidence, they canceled their stay at the hostel the next morning and as we approved their request to live with us at Ela-G guest condo they left the hostel and headed straight to our place.

This is what they have to say:

 At Ela-G guest condo.

Is Baguio worth visiting? Yes, still worth visiting. With regards to some negative comments about pollution that occurs mostly during the holiday season, it is true because of too many cars brought by lowlanders but it's not enough reason to say it's not worth visiting anymore. Just like anywhere in the world, it has a lot of positive and negative points.

There is so much more to Baguio. Yes, it is a great city; arguably one of the most exciting places in The Philippines! From history to colder climate, it’s certainly one of Philippines tourist epicenters. Whether you are a first-time vacationer or a business traveler, we recommend venturing beyond the city limits.

There are so many more places that this city has to offer outside of the buzz and bright lights of the Metro. Whether you fancy hiking, waterfalls site seeing, hot spring hopping, cool environment’s resorts visitations or just a city break, you will find several places to consider if you’re searching for something a little different from “The Big Smoke and heavy traffic” of the Metro.

Baguio City is a favorite summer destination among Filipinos and foreigners because that's when we get to wear boots and sweeter - it's cool and chill.

Our firstborn solo travel log in Europe

Three coats, 3 jackets, 3 turtlenecks, 3 pairs of shoes, 3 pairs of pants, 2 leggings, underwear, socks, a skirt, a dress, a pair of gloves and a scarf = 1 luggage, a sports bag, and a backpack. I KNOW I'm CRAZY, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TRAVEL LIGHT. Six planes and a lot of train/tram rides + numerous people who helped me along the way.

I always find it exhilarating to travel alone, it's liberating and life-changing. Trying to strike up a conversation with a stranger and doing new things feels so magical to me. I learn so much and get to know more about myself and my capabilities when I'm solo.

This morning I came back home from a 10-day trip to Europe. I started my sojourn in Munich, Germany and stayed for 2 days then took a flight to Oslo, Norway. Took a train to Bergen with my good friend the next morning and dragged her to places where BTS went to before for one of their variety shows ðŸ˜… Went back to Oslo the next day only to take another train to Gothenburg, Sweden that night where I got to go to an amusement park with a Christmas market inside.

After touring around the morning I left by train again to Stockholm. I went to a few places during the day (BTS inspired again) and by evening I was on a flight to Amsterdam where I spent the last 2.5 days of my trip.

I did all this without data (didn't subscribe to my network's plan before leaving Doha) and just relied on free wifi. I had a dysfunctional charging port so I could only charge using a wireless charger which was very slow compared to plugging it directly. The best and worst part was I didn't have an itinerary and was basically winging it every day trying to avoid tourist traps but still going to recommend places by Google lol.

While eating lunch this afternoon and telling my dad snippets of my journey he was saying "ang Lakas Talaga ng loob mo" which can mean "you really have guts, you're so brave or to be courageous" in the context of traveling alone. I don't know if he was proud of me for being an independent woman but I felt that he was, so I just wanted to say that I am who I am today because of how they raised me.

Our parents always let me and my siblings do what we wanted (as long as it's not too crazy ... I guess I shouldn't tell them how much I've spent in fangirling lol) and didn't hold us back. They taught us things but also, let us learn by ourselves through experience. I'm thankful that they are very supportive in everything we do (Papa even withdrew emergency travel money for me even if I have money saved up. I guess I'm supposed to pay back in a few months with 0 % interest? ðŸ˜…) and hopefully in the near future I become an awesome parent like them.

Enough with the chatter, I will be posting lots of photos and editing videos soon so, please bear with me if I flood your feed as well.
Already excited for my next vacation leave! Where to next?

Ela-G guest house Laguna: Perimeter wall and kitchen extension (part 1)

THE CONSTRUCTION SUMMARY

ElabizProperties through Ela-G brand name, the subject project is located at West Wing Residences Eton City (WWREC) in Sta. Rosa Laguna.

Phase 1 includes the construction of the perimeter wall and a kitchen extension on a 150 sq. meters property.

Groundworks

Building materials utilize concrete slab on grade and walls, metal roof truss structures to become adaptable to a roof mount solar set-up later. Windows are specified to be dual glazed vinyl with glass. The roof is to be composite shingle or equal with high wind exposure installations.

Plans submitted to the developer indicate the property, which consist of the existing house; perimeter walls, the kitchen extension perspective and plans into an aggregate total area of 150 square meters will be developed by phase 1.

The site is relatively half-circle in shape on a corner lot; and the property is facing two roadways that give resident un-restricted views of the horizon.

Site development includes but not limited to earthworks and excavations, fine grading along the existing curb and walkway, paving and stripping, landscaping and perimeter fencing. On-grade parking will be developed as extension verandah and below will become the permanent parking slot for 2-cars and form part of phase 2 contract.

During an on-site video call with our construction contractor engineer along with my wife Evelyn, it is decided that the frontage area of the house, wall post, and divider wall and the washing area will be provided with decorative tiles for ease of maintenance and added beauty. I was then skeptical for a while because seepage of rainwater will be restricted and might be a concern but later agreed to their suggestions.

The community is part of a residential project developed by Eton Properties. Adjoins the site including the almost finish recreational facilities and the multi-purpose clubhouse and a football field is being planned on the Southwest part of the clubhouse. At the far end of the community and within reach by the resident, a well known institutional academe breaks ground lately.
