Fredolin II College Graduation Day

After years in college, my brother Fredolin L. Aguinaldo II is set to graduate with a degree in BS in Entrepreneurship from Angelicum College this semester-end 2017. I can only imagine my parent’s joy once he stepped on the stage podium to receive his diploma.

Looking back, he was born in Doha State of Qatar on June 05, 1992 to Mr. Fredolin P. Aguinaldo, an employee of the then Qatar General Petroleum Corporation (now Qatar Petroleum) and Mrs.  Evelyn L. Aguinaldo, a former teacher of the Philippine School of Doha.

With this background wherein both parents were working, you would certainly agree with me that life for him growing up was not that easy.  It was quite an obstacle for a little boy at the age of four to be left alone at home while his parents earned a living.

Despite of it all, he was able to hurdle every step of the education ladder starting with his elementary and secondary education at the Philippine School of Doha, Qatar.

His college journey started when he passed the UST Entrance Test (USTET) but ended up enrolling BS in Entrepreneurship at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran during his early college days. He then transferred to Angelicum College Quezon City and finished his degree in their institution.

In order to enhance his entrepreneurial skills while studying, our parents encouraged him to join KsK Co-operative where he invested part of his allowance and also joined the FAMI-SALEF mutual fund. With financial backing from our parents, he also acquired shares at the Aurum One Hotel Makati, etc.

His latest venture is joining FarmOn.ph, a concept in reintroducing farming with the use of social media and online applications thru virtual farming.

For him, there is a big potential in real estate rentals especially those frequented by both local and foreign tourists like the City of Baguio. He suggested that our family acquire more multi-room apartments at said location and offered his services to look after our clients.
"It must be a very proud moment for you. Chasing a dream requires your efforts and passions. Hard work isn't over when you graduated. It's just a break as you enter the new battlefields of life. Good luck and congratulations"!
